Switch from Spusu to EE and keep your number

This guide explains how to switch from Spusu to EE and keep your mobile number.

Most number transfers complete within 1 to 2 working days once EE has your PAC code.

If you want a new number instead, text STAC to 75075 and give the code to EE.

Spusu and EE both run on EE's network, so your coverage will not change when you switch. You are changing provider, but your signal will still use the same network.

To keep your number, request a PAC code from Spusu and give it to EE.

You can usually give EE your PAC code when you order, or after your new SIM card or eSIM has been activated.

1. Request a PAC code from Spusu

Here is how to get your PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) from Spusu:

  • Text: Text "PAC" to 65075 from your Spusu phone. You will get a text back with your code within a minute. This is a free service from Ofcom (the UK's communications regulator).
  • Online: Log in to My Spusu, go to Plan and request your PAC code there.
  • Email: Email office@spusu.co.uk to request your PAC code.
  • Phone or WhatsApp: Call or message Spusu on 07356 010100.

Spusu's service team works Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturday 9am to 5pm, excluding bank holidays.

2. Order a SIM only deal from EE

If you already have your new SIM, continue to Step 3.

If EE asks for your PAC code during checkout, enter it there. If not, wait for your new SIM or eSIM to activate, then give EE the PAC code using the method below.

EE SIM plans are tiered, and inclusive EU roaming only starts at the Essentials Plus tier, so check what is included before you order.

3. Give the PAC code to EE

Once you have your PAC code, follow these steps to give it to EE:

  • Online: Give your PAC code to EE via their online transfer form.
  • Phone: Call EE on 150 from your EE phone or 07953 966250 from another phone.
    • Open everyday from 8am - 6pm.
  • In-store: Pop in to your nearest EE store and give them your PAC code.

EE will then handle the transfer of your number. Give them your PAC code within 30 days of receiving it — after that it expires and you will need to request a new one from Spusu.

4. Wait for your number transfer to EE to complete

EE will send the transfer request to Spusu.

Your number should move to your new EE SIM within 1 to 2 working days.
