Who are Mozillion?

Mozillion is a UK company that started as a marketplace for refurbished phones before adding SIM only plans, sold in partnership with EE. It's a smaller name than the networks you'd see on the high street, but the plans work the same way as any other MVNO deal: you get your signal from EE and your bill from Mozillion. All Mozillion deals listed here are checked as part of our Ofcom-accredited comparison, and two things genuinely set them apart from most of the market. Every plan skips the credit check, even on 24 month contracts, and every allowance is available at all three contract lengths.

What network does Mozillion run on?

Mozillion runs on EE. It's an MVNO, meaning it doesn't own its own network infrastructure but buys access to EE's, so the coverage and signal you receive are exactly what EE customers get in the same location. If EE works well where you live and work, Mozillion gives you that coverage for a few pounds a month.

Do I need a credit check on a Mozillion SIM only contract?

No. Every Mozillion deal we list is a no credit check deal, including the 12 and 24 month contracts. That's unusual: most networks that skip credit checks only do so on rolling monthly plans, so Mozillion is one of the few places you can lock in a two year price without a check. Which Mozillion deal is worth your money right now?

The 3GB deal at £4.00 a month on a 24 month contract is the pick. You get unlimited minutes and texts, 5G, EU roaming included, and no credit check on EE's network, and 3GB is a comfortable allowance for anyone who spends most of their time on Wi-Fi. If 1GB is enough, the £3.00 a month 24 month deal is the cheapest on the page. Heavier users should look at 10GB for £6.00 a month or 30GB for £8.00 a month, both on 24 month contracts. Mozillion states it doesn't apply mid-contract price rises on any plan, so the price you sign up at is fixed for the term, which makes a two year commitment less of a gamble than it is with networks that raise prices each April. Mozillion prices the same allowance differently by contract length, which makes the trade-off easy to see. The 1GB plan costs £4.00 a month rolling, £3.50 a month on a 12 month SIM only contract, and £3.00 a month over 24 months. The saving for committing is real but modest, so if your circumstances might change, the rolling option costs little extra for the flexibility.
