This guide explains how to switch from EcoTalk to Lycamobile and keep your mobile number.
Most number transfers complete within 1 to 2 working days once Lycamobile has your PAC code.
If you want a new number instead, text STAC to 75075 and give the code to Lycamobile.
EcoTalk and Lycamobile both run on EE's network, so your coverage will not change when you switch. You are changing provider, but your signal will still use the same network.

To keep your number, request a PAC code from EcoTalk and give it to Lycamobile.
You can usually give Lycamobile your PAC code when you order, or after your new SIM card or eSIM has been activated.
1. Request a PAC code from EcoTalk
Here is how to get your PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) from EcoTalk:
- Text: Text "PAC" to 65075 from your EcoTalk phone. You will get a text back with your code within a minute. This is a free service from Ofcom (the UK's communications regulator).
- Phone: Call EcoTalk on 033 3800 5500 from any UK phone.
2. Order a SIM only deal from Lycamobile

If you already have your new SIM, continue to Step 3.
If Lycamobile asks for your PAC code during checkout, enter it there. If not, wait for your new SIM or eSIM to activate, then give Lycamobile the PAC code using the method below.

3. Give the PAC code to Lycamobile
Once you have your PAC code, here is how to give it to Lycamobile:
- Online: Enter your PAC code at checkout when you order, or email Lycamobile at cs@lycamobile.co.uk or use the live chat on their website.
- Phone: Call 322 from your Lycamobile phone or 0207 132 0322 from any other phone.
4. Wait for your number transfer to Lycamobile to complete
Lycamobile will send the transfer request to EcoTalk.
Your number should move to your new Lycamobile SIM within 1 to 2 working days.
