This guide explains how to switch from ParentShield to Asda Mobile and keep your mobile number.
Most number transfers complete within 1 to 2 working days once Asda Mobile has your PAC code.
If you want a new number instead, text STAC to 75075 and give the code to Asda Mobile.
This switch will take you from EE's network to Vodafone's network. Coverage may differ in some areas. Check Asda Mobile's coverage checker before switching.

To keep your number, request a PAC code from ParentShield and give it to Asda Mobile.
You can usually give Asda Mobile your PAC code when you order, or after your new SIM card or eSIM has been activated.
1. Request a PAC code from ParentShield
Here is how to get your PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) from ParentShield:
- Text: Text "PAC" to 65075 from the ParentShield phone. ParentShield will seek authorisation from the account holder before releasing the code, so a child cannot port the number out without the parent knowing.
- Phone: Call ParentShield on 0330 122 1180.
- Live chat: Use the live chat on the ParentShield website or in the Portal.
On Roam Stage SIMs the account closes when a PAC is used or when it expires, even if unused. On other plans, an unused PAC simply lapses and the account carries on as normal.
2. Order a SIM only deal from Asda Mobile
If you have not ordered yet, compare current Asda Mobile SIM only deals below.

If you already have your new SIM, continue to Step 3.
If Asda Mobile asks for your PAC code during checkout, enter it there. If not, wait for your new SIM or eSIM to activate, then give Asda Mobile the PAC code using the method below.
Asda Mobile pays a percentage of your monthly plan cost back into your Asda Rewards Cashpot.
Asda Mobile does not run a credit check, so there is nothing to wait for during sign-up.
Asda Mobile offers eSIMs, so you can switch without waiting for a physical SIM to arrive.
3. Give the PAC code to Asda Mobile
Once you have your PAC code, here is how to give it to Asda Mobile:
- Online: Enter your PAC code at checkout when you order, or log in to your Asda Mobile account, go to My profile and select Transferring your number.
- Phone: Call 2732 from your Asda Mobile phone or 0808 006 2732 from any other phone.
4. Wait for your number transfer to Asda Mobile to complete
Asda Mobile will send the transfer request to ParentShield.
Your number should move to your new Asda Mobile SIM within 1 to 2 working days.
