This guide explains how to switch from Honest Mobile to ParentShield and keep your mobile number.
Most number transfers complete within 1 to 2 working days once ParentShield has your PAC code.
If you want a new number instead, text STAC to 75075 and give the code to ParentShield.

To keep your number, request a PAC code from Honest Mobile and give it to ParentShield.
You can usually give ParentShield your PAC code when you order, or after your new SIM card or eSIM has been activated.
1. Request a PAC code from Honest Mobile
Here is how to get your PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) from Honest Mobile:
- Text: Text "PAC" to 65075 from your Honest Mobile phone. You will get a text back with your code within a minute. This is a free service from Ofcom (the UK's communications regulator).
- Online: Email Honest Mobile at support@honestmobile.co.uk or use the live chat on their website.
- WhatsApp: Message Honest Mobile on WhatsApp at 07356 132576.
2. Order a SIM only deal from ParentShield
If you have not ordered yet, compare current ParentShield SIM only deals below.
If you already have your new SIM, continue to Step 3.
If ParentShield asks for your PAC code during checkout, enter it there. If not, wait for your new SIM or eSIM to activate, then give ParentShield the PAC code using the method below.
ParentShield is designed for children's phones, so the account is set up and controlled by a parent rather than the person using the SIM.
ParentShield does not run a credit check, so there is nothing to wait for during sign-up.
ParentShield offers eSIMs, so you can switch without waiting for a physical SIM to arrive.
3. Give the PAC code to ParentShield
Once you have your PAC code, here is how to give it to ParentShield:
- Portal: Number transfers in are available on ParentShield's EE network SIMs. Request the transfer from the Account Setup page when you first log in to your ParentShield Portal, or later from the Billing tab.
- Contact: You can also call 0330 122 1180 or email hello@parentshield.co.uk to arrange the transfer.
Transfers in are not available on the Roam Stage SIM.
4. Wait for your number transfer to ParentShield to complete
ParentShield will send the transfer request to Honest Mobile.
Your number should move to your new ParentShield SIM within 1 to 2 working days.
