This guide explains how to switch from EE to Sky Mobile and keep your mobile number.
Most number transfers complete within 1 to 2 working days once Sky Mobile has your PAC code.
If you want a new number instead, text STAC to 75075 and give the code to Sky Mobile.
This switch will take you from EE's network to O2's network. Coverage may differ in some areas. Check Sky Mobile's coverage checker before switching.

To keep your number, request a PAC code from EE and give it to Sky Mobile.
You can usually give Sky Mobile your PAC code when you order, or after your new SIM card or eSIM has been activated.
1. Request a PAC code from EE
Switching from EE and keeping your current phone number is straightforward. There is no need to memorise a new number or update all your contacts!
Here is how to get your PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) from EE:
- Text: Text "PAC" to 65075 from your EE phone. You will get a text back with your code within a minute. This is a free service from Ofcom (the UK's communications regulator).
- Online: Login to your EE account and choose to Leave EE via your account settings.
- Phone: Call EE on 150 from your EE phone or 07953 966250 from another phone.
- Open everyday from 8am - 6pm.
- In-store: Pop in to your nearest EE store and request your PAC code.
Requesting a PAC does not cancel anything. Your EE plan carries on as normal until the code is used, and if you never use it, it simply expires after 30 days.
The text with your PAC will also show any early exit fees you would pay or credit you would lose by switching, so check it before you hand the code over.
2. Order a SIM only deal from Sky Mobile
If you have not ordered yet, compare current Sky Mobile SIM only deals below.
If you already have your new SIM, continue to Step 3.
If Sky Mobile asks for your PAC code during checkout, enter it there. If not, wait for your new SIM or eSIM to activate, then give Sky Mobile the PAC code using the method below.
Sky Mobile stores unused data in a Piggybank you can dip into later, though not on unlimited plans.
Sky Mobile offers eSIMs, so you can switch without waiting for a physical SIM to arrive.
3. Give the PAC code to Sky Mobile
Once you have your PAC code, here is how to give it to Sky Mobile:
- Online: Enter your PAC code at checkout when you order, or go to the Transfer your number to Sky page and sign in to your Sky account.
- Phone: Call Sky Mobile on 03300 412 524 and give them your PAC code.
4. Wait for your number transfer to Sky Mobile to complete
Sky Mobile will send the transfer request to EE.
Your number should move to your new Sky Mobile SIM within 1 to 2 working days.
