This guide explains how to switch from EE to Lebara and keep your mobile number.
Most number transfers complete within 1 to 2 working days once Lebara has your PAC code.
If you want a new number instead, text STAC to 75075 and give the code to Lebara.
This switch will take you from EE's network to Vodafone's network. Coverage may differ in some areas. Check Lebara's coverage checker before switching.

To keep your number, request a PAC code from EE and give it to Lebara.
You can usually give Lebara your PAC code when you order, or after your new SIM card or eSIM has been activated.
1. Request a PAC code from EE
Switching from EE and keeping your current phone number is straightforward. There is no need to memorise a new number or update all your contacts!
Here is how to get your PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) from EE:
- Text: Text "PAC" to 65075 from your EE phone. You will get a text back with your code within a minute. This is a free service from Ofcom (the UK's communications regulator).
- Online: Login to your EE account and choose to Leave EE via your account settings.
- Phone: Call EE on 150 from your EE phone or 07953 966250 from another phone.
- Open everyday from 8am - 6pm.
- In-store: Pop in to your nearest EE store and request your PAC code.
Requesting a PAC does not cancel anything. Your EE plan carries on as normal until the code is used, and if you never use it, it simply expires after 30 days.
The text with your PAC will also show any early exit fees you would pay or credit you would lose by switching, so check it before you hand the code over.
2. Order a SIM only deal from Lebara
If you have not ordered yet, compare current Lebara SIM only deals below.
If you already have your new SIM, continue to Step 3.
If Lebara asks for your PAC code during checkout, enter it there. If not, wait for your new SIM or eSIM to activate, then give Lebara the PAC code using the method below.
Most Lebara plans include international minutes, rising to unlimited on the top plans, so check the country list covers who you call.
Lebara SIMs must be activated within 30 days of ordering or the plan and any promotions lapse.
Lebara does not run a credit check, so there is nothing to wait for during sign-up.
3. Give the PAC code to Lebara
Once you have your PAC code, here is how to give it to Lebara:
- Online: Enter your PAC code at checkout when you order, or complete the Port In form on Lebara's website afterwards. An advisor chat will take your PAC and the number you are transferring.
- Phone: Call Lebara on 5588 from your Lebara phone or 0207 031 0791 from any other phone.
4. Wait for your number transfer to Lebara to complete
Lebara will send the transfer request to EE.
Your number should move to your new Lebara SIM within 1 to 2 working days.
