This guide explains how to switch from Chattr to iD Mobile and keep your mobile number.
Most number transfers complete within 1 to 2 working days once iD Mobile has your PAC code.
If you want a new number instead, text STAC to 75075 and give the code to iD Mobile.
This switch will take you from O2's network to Three's network. Coverage may differ in some areas. Check iD Mobile's coverage checker before switching.

To keep your number, request a PAC code from Chattr and give it to iD Mobile.
You can usually give iD Mobile your PAC code when you order, or after your new SIM card or eSIM has been activated.
1. Request a PAC code from Chattr
Here is how to get your PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) from Chattr:
- Text: Text "PAC" to 65075 from your Chattr phone. You will get a text back with your code within a minute. This is a free service from Ofcom (the UK's communications regulator).
- Email: Email Chattr at hello@chattr.co.uk to request your PAC code.
Chattr is an online-only network with no stores or phone line.
2. Order a SIM only deal from iD Mobile
If you have not ordered yet, compare current iD Mobile SIM only deals below.
If you already have your new SIM, continue to Step 3.
If iD Mobile asks for your PAC code during checkout, enter it there. If not, wait for your new SIM or eSIM to activate, then give iD Mobile the PAC code using the method below.

iD Mobile offers eSIMs, so you can switch without waiting for a physical SIM to arrive.
3. Give the PAC code to iD Mobile
Once you have your PAC code, here is how to give it to iD Mobile:
- Online: Enter your PAC code at checkout when you order, or fill in iD Mobile's number transfer form once your new SIM is active.
- Live chat: Contact iD Mobile's live chat team through the Help and Support page.
4. Wait for your number transfer to iD Mobile to complete
iD Mobile will send the transfer request to Chattr.
Your number should move to your new iD Mobile SIM within 1 to 2 working days.
