This guide explains how to switch from EE to Grade Mobile and keep your mobile number.
Most number transfers complete within 1 to 2 working days once Grade Mobile has your PAC code.
If you want a new number instead, text STAC to 75075 and give the code to Grade Mobile.
Grade Mobile runs on EE's network, so your coverage will not change when you switch. You are changing provider, but your signal will still use the same network.

To keep your number, request a PAC code from EE and give it to Grade Mobile.
You can usually give Grade Mobile your PAC code when you order, or after your new SIM card or eSIM has been activated.
1. Request a PAC code from EE
Switching from EE and keeping your current phone number is straightforward. There is no need to memorise a new number or update all your contacts!
Here is how to get your PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) from EE:
- Text: Text "PAC" to 65075 from your EE phone. You will get a text back with your code within a minute. This is a free service from Ofcom (the UK's communications regulator).
- Online: Login to your EE account and choose to Leave EE via your account settings.
- Phone: Call EE on 150 from your EE phone or 07953 966250 from another phone.
- Open everyday from 8am - 6pm.
- In-store: Pop in to your nearest EE store and request your PAC code.
Requesting a PAC does not cancel anything. Your EE plan carries on as normal until the code is used, and if you never use it, it simply expires after 30 days.
The text with your PAC will also show any early exit fees you would pay or credit you would lose by switching, so check it before you hand the code over.
2. Order a SIM only deal from Grade Mobile
If you have not ordered yet, compare current Grade Mobile SIM only deals below.
If you already have your new SIM, continue to Step 3.
If Grade Mobile asks for your PAC code during checkout, enter it there. If not, wait for your new SIM or eSIM to activate, then give Grade Mobile the PAC code using the method below.
Grade Mobile is best known for refurbished phones, and you can bundle a refurbished handset with its SIM plans.
Grade Mobile does not run a credit check, so there is nothing to wait for during sign-up.
3. Give the PAC code to Grade Mobile
Once you have your PAC code, here is how to give it to Grade Mobile:
- Online: Enter your PAC code at checkout when you order, or give it to Grade Mobile via their online contact form or by emailing contact@grademobile.co.uk.
- Phone: Call Grade Mobile on 0808 175 2343 and give them your PAC code.
4. Wait for your number transfer to Grade Mobile to complete
Grade Mobile will send the transfer request to EE.
Your number should move to your new Grade Mobile SIM within 1 to 2 working days.
